What shall we cover:

Intro On What’s To Come (00:00 – 00:38)

What you are going to learn in this video is covered in this part.

Landing Page (00:39 – 01:10)

n the purest sense, a landing page is any web page that a visitor can arrive at or “land” on. However, when discussing landing pages within the realm of marketing and advertising, it’s more common to refer to a landing page as being a standalone web page distinct from your main website that has been designed for a single focused objective.

This means that your landing page should have no global navigation to tie it to your primary website. The main reason for this is to limit the options available to your visitors, helping to guide them toward your intended conversion goal.

Pop Up (01:11 – 01:55)

A pop up has the same function and goal as the landing page. It’s there to collect e-mails. With pop ups you can be more flexible because they can pop up anywhere you want them to pop up.

The “Trap” (01:56 – 03:25)

We define this as the reward you are willing to give to the people that leave in their e-mail. For instance if someone joins your e-mailing list that’s basketball related you would want to reward them by giving them something valuable that’s basketball related. In a way the trap is the reason why most people will join your mailing list.

All Text Landing Page (03:26 – 04:58)

Here we demonstrate how an all text landing page looks like and what you should know when making one.
